Thread: Temple fork finesse 7'9' 4 wt. Best line

  1. Default Temple fork finesse 7'9' 4 wt. Best line

I am leaning toward the old Cortland double taper "peach" 444 line or its clone the Rio classic or for more money the Rio Selective trout DT. Anyone have any ideas? Fishing will be for trout in north Georgia mountains and brim everywhere else. Thanks.

I've got a Scientific Anglers GPX on mine because that's what's on my 4wt reel right now. With a double haul I can cast almost the whole line. That rod continues to amaze me. I have a Rio Gold for my 3wts and really like it a lot. The Rio selective trout DT is nice too. Taking the Bluegill fishing into account I would go with a Rio gold. I really like the new Rio lines. I really like the 7' 8" Finesse too!
