I live in Idaho and fish other states and have seen the rivers over run with guides. Not only are they hogging the best runs but at times the worst of them are very aggressive to other anglers , acting like they own the rivers. I had a run in with one that was in a drift boat on Henrys Fork where I was already wadding , he launched his boat and rowed upstream of me and proceed to drift down directly at me , when he was about 30 ft. from me I said do you think you are close enough , he than veered off , not looking at me or saying a word to me . Very rude behavior . I have brought this subject up to other fly fishers and have listened to other similar stories of guiding abuse. Have used guides several times in the past with mostly good results , how ever in my opinion there needs to be a limit on how many can work a River per day . I'm interested if my fellow anglers feel the same way , and would like to read their gripes if they have any to share.
