Question Killing two birds with one stone.

    Hey everybody,

Well i have two questions so i'll kill two birds with one stone as the saying goes,

First question: is the St. Croix Legend fly rod any good. im looking at the 5 weight 8'6" four piece and they seem to have good reveiws. anyone agree with this and are St. Croixs rods any good?

Second Question: I had had read good reviews about the GPX fly line from SA and when i got some it had the worst memory i have ever seen in a fly line. Does anyone think i just got a bad batch or has anyone else had this problem and is there any way i can take it out if it isnt a bad line and there all like that?

    Thanks everybody.

    TW-

I haven't cast the Legend, so I can't comment about that, but for your 2nd bird/question, try stretching the line- give it a stretch between your outstretched arms a couple feet at a time until you've stretched out all the slack line for whatever distance you're casting. That should take the memory out of the line. After that you should be good to go.
