It's back. It seems to be hosted on a completely different platform, with a very different look and feel. Most of the comments on the board about the change are positive; it's apparently faster, and it's easier to load pictures.

You'll have to log in again if you're used to "stay signed in" option.

We had ongoing issues with performance and this has been in the works for some time now. I can't say that I love the new format but experience with it on other Fish & Fly forums shows it to be a good platform. Look for some interface issues with regard to archived threads but I expect that everything will be transitioned in time.

I'm a creature of habit going on 13 years experience with this vBulletin appearance and more importantly the administrative control panel site. If it takes a while so that I have time through the UK forums and Sea Trout forums to familiarize with the forum controls I'll be OK but would not welcome it by days end.

I think that for those who came on board here using mobile devices, Taptalk and the like the new view of the UK board is easier than our classic pages. For us who have always accessed using computers the new format is less than stimulating. We'll see what happens next but if we were to change I'd expect some down time.

Let's hope we don't change. I like the navigation and looks as it is. I hate the way the UK site looks although they at least kept the threads nested. Too many forums seem to show all of the posts for all threads, which is hard to navigate.

To me it is twice as fast there as here and looks better.
