I use a Griffin Blackfoot Mongoose for most tying and an Apex Anvil for smaller flys.

I had (& loved) a DanVise. It is a terrific value, a full-featured true rotary for under $80, but as I'm currently pretty much restricted to tailwaters, the DanVise gets a bit cramped when tying #24's and smaller. The Peak Rotary I replaced it with does a great job with these tiny flies with its optional midge jaws, and is a quality-built vise - a pleasure to look at and use.

Started on a Griffin 2A which I bought when I took a fly tying class. Now using a Dyna King Trekker.

Best vice I've ever used...before the peak it was a cheap AA.

PEAK Rotary... no complaints.

Good choice for the tyer on a budget IMO.
