Cool First fish on fly I tied

I'm a genuine authentic fly fisherman now! I just started tying, and tied up a bunch of black woolly buggers over the past few weeks. Saturday I went out to a creek that didn't appear to have any potential, and caught a small largemouth bass! On the woolly bugger I tied!! It's pretty satisfying. Sorry no pictures, but just had to share.

Excellent! I haven't used any but my own for so long now. It's just a more
rewarding feeling....for me at least. I know lots of people just aren't inclined
to tie, or don't have the time. That's fine too.

Hi notenuftoys,

It is a great feeling to catch a fish on your first fly. Don't make the mistake I did and continue to fish with it. Save it, you will be glad that you did.

Frank
