Thread: Sear fur

  1. Question Seal fur

Had a friend give me an old nymph tying book. The author loved to use seal fur on most of the patterns. Anybody have any idea for substitutes for this item.

Here's another option: Pseudo Seal Dubbing

I'd rather hunt fish than bait deer any day.

    Hi everyone!!
New to the forum, and glad to be here.

J.Fair also makes a wonderful Dubbing called "Seal Sub", comes in a nice selection of colors too. The man has a way with color.

Denny Rickards sells it on his website I believe.

That is the stuff. Dennis might be a little "FAIRer" LOL with the price however.
