Had to change some things, hackle broke, and I discovered my dire need for cobblers wax, hence the messy head, but she'll fish!

tied on an aj 2091 (love these hooks)

Nice. Did you use schlappen for the hackle?
Check out blue heron hooks. not blind eye, but awesome nonetheless.

nope, used natural coque, I have a bunch of it and just recently realized what its for and how valuable it has become to me with my obsession over spey and dee flies

I burnt some of it and it is great for dees, especially smaller stuff
