I'm pretty sure that link on dubbing techniques has been posted before, but it is an excellent read so I made it a sticky so others can find it much easier in the future. Thanks for bringing it back!

That is an amazing amount of info on dubbing techniques! I love it, there are couple techniques and effects I've never seen before.

A sparse touch dub over a nymph body (PT, herl, whatever) is, I think, a really great extra step. I've quit
doing it but am going to go back to it after seeing this.

Link no longer valid.....
Yeah that sucks! Relying on the internet to store other stuff that is based on the internet probably should not hold such sway as it does in our lives. I know it does in my.

If you find something on the web that you think is really important print it or copy and save it onto something you can keep.

John: Good point!

When I tried to see what was going on at ukflydressing.proboards.com I got an error message that said the admin had taken down that forum.
Here is the actual message I received:
It looks like this forum doesn't exist any more. The forum admin has opted to remove it from the ProBoards service.

I do this and put the print outs in my books...or save to PDFs and then put in folders....then later look at it all and say, what was I thinking saving all this!

I read this article once, and when I saw thread I tried to find it to post. I was a little disappointed when I couldn't track it down. Glad someone found it. I now have it bookmarked for future reference thanks everyone's advice.

This post is a neat find as my #2 grand son has shown an interest in fly tying all of a sudden and I am sure this post will prove useful. :):)

just a word of caution - the "limp cobra" link now takes you to a porn site

i have sanitized my posting that had the link and have reported the other two links that have the offensive link to a moderator

the limp cobra fly tying website is no longer but the name must have been bought by the porn site

here is the corrected link for the dubbing tutorial (the only one i know of)

Marc Fauvet's site had a wealth of information and was linked to from many other fly fishing sites. That porn site should see lots of traffic and I guess there are several more threads on this site that link there as well.
Thanks for posting the slideshare link.
