Yes!! There ya go! Add some short black rubber legs to the abdomen and you'd have a CRAZY good looking hellgramite. You could try taking some pliers before you tie and bend an arch in the hook to give em that kinked up shape.

The best hellgramite pattern that I know is the Murry's Hellgramite
You might look at it and say 'oh that's nothing but a woolybugger with rubber legs", but the big difference is the full ostrich herl tail.
Unlike marabou, the ostrich herl is fairly stiff but still has the action to realistically mimic the the swimming motions of a live hellgramite
