This thread came up at a good time.
My desk is fairly clean right now, just had family in from out of town, so the wife made me straighten up.

I've got a desk and an armoir to store all my materials.

    Hey Fyshstyr
Thats a really nice set up, I kind of like to keep most of my stuff in the Plano type boxes just to keep it portable. Man i put fly tying desk in google and wow! lots of choices from 49.99 into the thousands, some are so nice i would be afraid to use them. I think i may hit some antque shops and check some old desks and maybe convert it to a tying station.

    Hi Jim,

If you are space deprived, you can build a dandy table, tying area in a closet. I have done it with a fly tying table and a reloading bench. If it is a walk in closet that is even better. Make the desk narrow enough so you can push your chair up under the desk and then close the closet door. Presto, a happy wife. You can build shelves or drawers on the closet walls. The closets I used had a light over head and that was useful. I also extended a wall plug on the outside of the closet wall into the closet. Just drilled a hole from the outside wall to the inside, extended the wire and mounted a box on the wall with 4 plugs. This gave me a nice setup and the mess was out of site.

You guys are SPOILED! I am the only tier for 3 brothers and a woman so I have to keep it small. I do have some drawers to the ceiling in the garage full of my materials then I take small portions and put them in a rolling tool box so I am very mobile. Plus I tie at a couple of expose so it makes it easy for me.
    Very nice set up guys...JEALOUS!

    Hi Headhunter,

You have to upload your photos to a WEB location from your computer. You can use the photo gallery on NAFFF to do this. Look at the "links" index on the left side of the home page. Go down to Gallery and find "upload image" and click on the link. You can put in the address of the photo or in this case click "browse". It will locate the photos on your computer. You will have to locate the individual photo you want to upload and then click on the photo. It will upload to your personal gallery on NAFFF. Once it is in the gallery you can insert the photo in your post.
