Tying really does change the whole sport. Today I am in town and think to myself, hey my box is light on Kaufman Stonefly Nypmhs and Prince nymphs.

$21 later I can tie those two patterns until I am an old man.

I did get some MFC artificial wing skin so I don't have to clear coat turkey quills so I did take the easy way out

I hate to say it but I love it when I know I'm going and I might be low on a pattern or hear about a new one. I get to fill the weeks anticipation of an outing at the vise tying.....so therapeutic

Definitely, tying for a specific trip is always a blast. It is almost like starting the trip early right from your chair.

Haha right now I'm just ready for my vise and tools to get here! But it seems like I'm going to start stocking up on flies like ammo hahaha.. Pretty soon ill have 5000 rounds of y2k eggs and prince nymphs LOL
