Thread: Sally Strikes Again

    Default Sally Strikes Again

The other day while my wife and I were in Walmart I was looking for some more Hard as Nails polish and Stumbled across their Xtreme wear polish with glitter. (pretty extreme name for nail polish if you ask me, but what do I know!) I've tied a few PTN and GRHE using it for head cement. I feel it adds a really subtle bit of sparkle that will hopefully help wary trout notice the fly with out sending them running, like some of the other flashy flies out there. I can't wait to get out on the river and fish 'em! I'll let y'all know if it's worth the $3!

The picture quality isn't very good from my iphone but you can somewhat see the flash.

As always any suggestions on tying better flies are always welcome!

Interesting, next time I'm in WalMart I will have to look that up.
I can't comment on the fly tying as I can't see the details well enough, the photos are just enough out of focus so I can't really help, sorry.
