Thanks Laurie - Dabbler proportions are slowly getting better with your framed examples about 6 inches from my nose. Love the hot orange bronze mallard by the way, it ties a treat - thanks for teaching the Bronze Mallard cloaking technique - anyone starting out cloaking a difficult feather like the mallard will struggle - your technique is a real production technique and makes the tying fun. Nice shrimps - unfortunately we are restricted to singles and barbless for the steelhead here....

Great bunch of flies and nymphs here
tied a few Dace delight...last weekendthe problem is hatches are getting rare and haven't caught a dace which is my favorite fish for a while

Very nice - like the tinsel and the strong rib to give a ittle flash - what an excellent caddis impression- we see many fewer dabblers in the US forum, especially because the fashion at this end is so dominated by nymphs and dries. They have saved many a slow August afternoon in the Rocky mountain west when neither dries nor nymphs could get a fish to move, so I always have a box of them.
