Tim, this is one of my absolute favorite "go to" flies. Thrilled to see it here, nice work!

Orange Fish Hawk variation with floss keeper

I used Greenwell hen for the hackle, instead of badger hen.

This is a Royal Coachman wet fly. It uses hen feather for the wing. I made these up for the trout, and bass mostly. This is a fishing fly here, by no means perfect. I also used saddle hackle for the tail, and throat. I didn't have the right hen hackle color, so I substituted, as I often have to do.

Very nice Kelly

I've made a handful of these to add to a box, don't know if they'll get used yet this fall but it is sometimes strange what the fish will take. The white - orange - red are all suggestive of flesh but they are to primarily attractor flies loosely based on the Max Canyon.

Argail, that's great that the beetle jumped on the back of the fly there! And Ard, I like those flies you've tied, the color scheme reminds me a bit of the Skykomish Sunrise pattern as well (except the black in the throat).

Here's a few that I threw together for a swap. I'm sure something similar exist in the fly tying world, but I was just aiming for movement and attractive to fish. I hope the result follows in line with the theory! Click the image to open in full size.
