AJ, take a look at the double standard. Combo of Hare's Ear and PT, and with a bead head you get a nice combo! There is a video on Tightlines Productions on Vimeo, but its an easy tie!

I love the Tightlines Productions videos, they're first-class. That's a very buggy looking pattern, I will be tying some up shortly, thanks Eunan! I wonder if I could add a turn or two of soft-hackle...

Thanks for the great step-by-step, I've never used the technique of folding the slip of feather fibers, I'm definitely going to have to try that! Looks like once I get a hold of that polar chenille I will be adding some dabblers to my fly box!

    AJ,
Hen soft hackle is pretty affordable if you want some full necks or capes.
I use soft hackle almost exclusively on my nymphs (PT's, Copper johns, Prince, etc.)
Badger color works with almost anything, it has become my favorite.

I like the flashy hare dub, I probably could mix up some of my own. I might try to copy yours with home made dub mix and teal feathers... we shall see. High water is coming, and flashy junk is the ticket!
