Some things I’ve been working on. I’m particularly excited about the wiper flies tied on a shank like a steelhead fly.....should work well especially since I fish wipers on the swing in big currents on a two handed rod.

I've finished a few poppers/sliders that were started some time ago. Here a pic, I previously posted a photo of the frog fly on this thread. I'm not sure about the slider with the "micro Magnum Dragon Tail", I had one chartreuse tail and decided to put in on this body, not so sure it will catch fish. I like the small slider, I think it will work for largemouth, smallmouth, and panfish:

All of these flies have balsa bodies. I carved/turned them some time ago, I do them in batches sometimes, and set them aside to finish when I have time. Here's a pic of what's left in the bag, mostly balsa bodies in various sizes. So I have some work to do to clear out the bag, thought folks might like seeing how these flies start...

I tied a handful of bloody baitfish, some weighted and others unweighted, in various colors hook sizes. I find this pattern to be an incredible bang for the buck when it comes to silhouette, action and the time to tie.

Tied some heavy nymphs on size 18 and 20 hooks for my first foray in euro nymphing with my newly acquired 11ft 3wt.

Tied up some size 16 & 18 Improved Galloup's BWO Nymphs. It took a few ties to get the right ratio of ice dub for the gills, but they look fishable.
