    Simple Foam Caddis

    Hook Dry fly style
    Thread/Body - Iridescent Veevus Thread
    Underwing - 1mm tan, cinnamon or brown foam
    Wing - Poly Wing, z-lon, antron yarn, hi-viz etc
    Hackle - Grizzly
    Poor quality materials and tools are destined to discourage beginner tiers and cause greater expense when the time comes to replace them.

    wings - brown, red and grizzly (chinchilla) marabou

    i tied this one in size 12 but tie them in sizes YOU prefer

    Shrimp. Lots of little brown shrimp are in the local surf and marsh now and a variety of fish are scarfing them down.
