You are making some wonderful ties there buddy. That one at the bottom of the post is what I would tie on first regardless of which coast I were fishing.

I feel that I'm doing quite well for some kid that started tying just a year ago

INCREDIBLE looking flies. I am not familiar with the way they are supposed to look, but these flies are FANTASTIC!!

thank you very much, just the other day I figured out how to get the wings to set nicely and rather easily, I also found that quality feathers are a must

If she has cats take some of the lint from her clothes dryer. It actually makes great dubbing and the cat hair gets trapped in it like the guard hairs in hare's ear dubbing.

I have not posted any fly photos in a bit, the new photo system is a bit 'clunky', not so user friendly.
I've been fixing up my cold/stillwater box. Chironimid, callibaetis, dragonfly larva, streamers, crayfish, leeches, beetles, water boatmen, and a few emergers.

I tied some new stuff for muskie yesterday. They are big, used a ton of marabou, tons of flash and lots of rubber legs. I will try to get them outside today for some photos. I also had tied some stuff for trout that will be happenin soon.

here they are..the smaller one would probably work well for bass and maybe even trout. its only like 5" long, the others are closer to 10"
