Counting down the days here too Len, my spring break should coincide pretty well with the the beginning of the season, so I'm pretty pumped about that. Is there still snow on the ground up there, or is it still a mild winter like it is here?

Even with the long winters Dan, you still get a half year of some of the best open water fishing in the the lower 48. Can't be complaining too much! Do you ice fish much up there?






Len - Any idea what day are the 2012 WI licenses available?
I was looking and it seems the start of trout season begins before you can pick up a new years license. That just doesn't seem right to me. Perhaps their site hasn't been updated.
