Doesn't sound like it's any big deal. Especially when these same Michigan employees poisoned the drinking water and thought nothing of it.

Yes , it is the same pipes where the span supports were washed away, reported and replaced years ago. Why doesn't the state pay for new lines to replace these if concerned about it?

A lot of the supports have not been replaced. The lines are private and used by Enbridge to carry millions of gallons of light crude and liquefied natural gas a day. A break would do untold amount of damages to the lakes. As for payment to replace, it's not the state's responsibility to maintain the pipes.
