Default Chicagoland Hello to all

Hey everyone,
My name is Sam and I been fly fishing for about a year or so.. I am completed addicted to smallmouth bass on a fly... I fish the kankakee river, Dupage river, and Hickory creek..

I just wanted to share what I have learned as well maybe meet people who are up for a nice wade

Welcome to the board. I also love to fly fish or smallies. Many of the rivers closest to me have smallmouth in them. Great fighters!!!

Hey Sam I live in northwest IN about 15 minutes from the kankakee. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing what types of flies have you been having success with while catching those smallies? If you wouldn't mind divulging that info I'd greatly appreciate it.
