Default Spey Fishers Social Group is Open!

For a more personal Spey chat location there is now a social group for the two hand rod fishers here. If you join go ahead and start a discussion and then subscribe to the group. By subscribing you will get an update on your User CP every time there are new posts on the group. You can also elect to get e-mail notification of new posts.

I will start loading some pictures into the gallery for the group and everyone is welcome to do the same. You have to have them in your albums first and then you can move copies to any of the social groups you may choose to use. Load them in, rods, reels, landscapes, whatever...........

Will a 9' Fennie fished to handed or a switch rod count? Or are talking full on spey 13'+?

I have a 12' 5wt that is considered a "spey" rod. Switch rods are just short spey rods given a trendy name it seems Sure, you can do "switch" casts with them, but they've got grips for both hands so I'd say they count! I really do need to start learning how to use my spey rod, this may just be the perfect venue...

Sooner or later Diver & Fred, Marco & Hooked will find the thread and there will be some chit chat I'm sure. Fysh already found it and is on board, I'm not sure how many Spey / Switch people we have but i opened a group to go with the threads here.

Ditto here. Don't think I've ever noted the header before. Very Cool, off for a read.

    Hey Fred!

Just go up to the Community tab and click, it'll drop down a menu and Social Groups is on top. Click there and it will show you all the different groups on the board. This allows for more discussion on focused topics. Sorta like a club thing and not on the main board. That sounds kinda anti social but it's not It's just somewhere else to find topics and leave your 2 cents that everyone does not get around to viewing.

Of course if you already knew all that I should go see if you joined

Did indeed Ard, but there are so many 'divisions' of this/that/the other on this Board I really don't pay attention. Log in and hit 'New Posts' and go from there.

Actually looking at the 2-hander section I've been there, just didn't know this was a 'one off.' Liking it and a few posts up this PM.

So far I'm carrying the ball here pretty much, it would be cool to get an active chat going here.
