Well I ordered this back on April 23rd. After what has felt like several years (i.e. kid waiting for Christmas) it is finally mine

Very gorgeous rod. Almost a shame to slime up that front grip.
I'm sure it will bring many years of enjoyment.
    Congrats.

Thanks guys! I canít wait to get out and use my new rod. This is my first spey rod and I am pretty excited. I tell you what the reel is a lot larger than the little Galvan OB-1s' and Ari T' Hart Traun F1 I use on my 0wt rods.

The rod came with Meiser's 502 grain SGS line. I am going to stick with this line for the time being.

    Sasha,

Nice stick, don't let what Fysh said bother you I have been sliming mine hard and It works better every time I go. I just came home from another morning of swinging Skykomish's in my favorite run and slimed the cork so many times I don't have a number to quote.

    Beautiful rod,

    Ard

A rod without slime is like a gun that just sits in the safe
