Favorite number of rod pieces?

I'm liking 3 and 4 piece rods these days, mainly because they're easier to pack onto the back of my motorbike. I had a 7'6" 2-piece Fran Betters "Special" that was one sweet little peach of a rod. It didn't fit so well onto the motorbike but that's not why I sold it. Actually, I'm not sure why I sold it and often wish I had held onto it...

I prefer my one piece 6' bamboo or any of my 2 piece rods, 'cause the only travelling is in my car! Would never bring them on a flight.

I once shipped a Sage one in 6 pieces, but it came back in four...

So, I've never owned one but I voted 1pc. Reason is is they cast better. I buy almost exclusively 4pc rods because it seems like that's what manufacturers are making but if I could buy a 5wt in a 1pc I would.

love the one piece snagged a 22 " brown on the 6' 3wt bamboo in November.. Incredibly strong! a couple of 16" brookies in the spring

Then again my 4 piece Sage z-axis is sweet!A different animal,obviously. For bigger water!
