Help, Fly Identification.

Was given this fly by a very nice man the other day in the Tahoe area, fishing the West Carson Fork. I unfortunately lost the fly after a couple catches, but the fish were not going after any other flies I tried. If someone could help identify this fly type, I'd be very appreciative. I think it is some sort of brown nymph but not sure. Looks hand tied too, bummer I lost it. The fly I'm referring too is the brown elongated nymph type with the gold hackle. Thankyou.

I agree with the group. Pheasant tail dry fly. Watch tutorial of it here......you can brush on your Italian..... 😂

Thankyou all for your responses and help, I agree it is some sort of Pheasant tail Dry! Glad to see this forum community is very helpful.
