Let it rain/snow

It's been a long hot summer and fall in the PNW. We've had enough rain this fall to keep the fires at bay, but it would be nice to have a wet winter again to fill the reservoirs and build up the snow pack. La Nina seems to have set up and we're starting to see series of storms line up in the Pacific. Snow in the Cascades, rain on the west side.

I spent yesterday afternoon on the river, celebrating and social distancing with a couple buddies. It rained, the sun came out, it poured, the bugs hatched, and the fish were eating. My buddy even found a bright summer steelhead willing to play with his trout flies. I'm hoping this is just the beginning of a wet winter in the west.IMG_20201107_144049780.jpg
