Though they may be allowing fishing I think this is going to be the capper in my "from Hell & Back 2015" trip that I was considering as a spur of the moment thing (and instead of 1 month was going to do 2). I really wanted to be out there before now, yet I might just save it all up and consider a short trip in the Fall.
Next year though, you guys better call out the National Guard ahead of time in that by then the Wife will be chomping at the bit.
Mikel et al.....I'm guiding in Idaho at Three Rivers Ranch this summer, less than a stones throw from the the Henrys Fork....it is flowing at 1000 cfs from Island Park down to Salem, which is perfect! This includes the Harriman ranch waters which is dryfly Meca, for those that have that preference. Above and below that water bobbers and streamers work fine......
The South Fork of the Snake is flowing at 9,000+cfs which is big by most standards...
Little creeks are low, but the Teton River up near Driggs is fine.
Who knows what next year will bring, so as I always say....fish now.
