Me too! I'm calling him this week to set up a trial rod. I'm going custom switch for beach rod if I like how it casts. His custom work is just fantastic.
I want to know how I can grow that cool hump like on Ard's back where he balances his spey rod and holds up the big fish at the same time for his picture? I think if you are too young an inexperienced the rod just slides right off your back. Pic in post 1
I even managed to find a reel-on caddy like I prefer.
The rod: 14' TFO 9wt, Professional Series bought in the bargain cave. The fighting but was broken off. I replaced it. I think it's a bit noodly but I've nothing to compare it to. I can't remember if the reel was a close out or if it too was from the cave. A Cabela's XSS2 with a new Rio Quad tip.
