Sometimes called the Colburn Special this pattern has been around since I don't know when. I am not sure if it is named for the originator or a town but it has saved a few days for me over the past 29 years since I first wrapped one up.

I don't know about that................... but you will find that if we tie three of the same pattern they get better. You seem to be doing just fine.

You like the Colburn? They will work for you, some tie with dyed squirrel tail for wing and tail. I happen to have the vintage Ringtail so I dyed some and went old school.
