So I'm sitting at my desk wanting to possibly see what I could come up with out of the scrap pile rather than just pushing it off into the wastebasket. There we go!!! I needed to not make the gray fox so sparse though.

Prichard's Western Angler: The yellow bucktail tied 1/2 way to the bend over the white is not a mistake. This is the way Al tied it by his own recipe.

Thread - Olive, black, brown, red etc
Ribbing - Silver or gold wire
Body - Tying thread
Under wing - 4 strands pearl krystal flash
Over wing - White foam clipped short
Head - Brown krystal dubbing

Hunting Creek Nymph

Hook - Standard wet/nymph, size 10-14
Weight - Lead/lead free wire
Thread – Black
Tail – Mottled hair or feather fibers
Rib - Copper wire
Body - Fine black dubbing (rabbit, beaver etc)
Wing case/hotspot – Dyed red duck/goose quill or red antron yarn
Thorax - Peacock herl, reinforced around the tying thread
Hackle - Hen soft hackle, black, brown or dun

Category - Atlantic Salmon

Hook - Up eye salmon style
Thread - Orange or hot orange
Tail - Orange over fluorescent green floss or uni stretch
Body - Rear, micro peacock chenille, Front, fluorescent floss or uni stretch
Throat - Fluorescent green over orange floss or uni stretch
Wing - Chartreuse bucktail over rainbow crystal flash

Tying note: I used MFC Lucent micro chenille in 615-Peacock color but a substitute can be Veevus Iris thread in i15-Peacock color

The fly above was tied using a photo on Frank Guimond's website. I tried the Google translator on the French name "Citrange" and it returned the same translation in English
