May I add to Jacksters, IF you do not want to get wet, this too can be achieved on a Pontoon. Many do it. Just use those oars like you would in a canoe or on a Kayak.

A few years back I created the 'Forum Yacht Club' rather than add another sub forum I stuck this into the Social Groups pages. To find and join the group click the Community tab on your menu bar and then choose Social Groups.

The Social Groups work just like a sub forum but are more of a private place where members can subscribe to and carry a conversation over time. They are also handy for being able to revisit a thread you are active in or one you started even if it has been quite some time since you last posted. I believe the groups make it easy for like minded members to connect once they know about the groups.

Have a look,

Ard

My elderly cousin had an old one until recently. She sold it because it "was too heavy for her to handle by herself"
She's in her 80's and bought a canoe to replace it. What great boat that was

Her father was a well known turn of the century guide and builder of some of the Adirondack "Great Camps", but I don't think that this particular boat belonged to him
