Default Shipping fly rod tubes

Howdy all. This may sound dumb, but I have a dilemma. I'm selling some of my 56-57" tubes because my 9' two-piece rods are permanently out of commission. My other rods are 3 and 4 piece rods. I'm having trouble finding a box or something to ship them in. Any suggestions? If anyone is interested, I'll post them in the appropriate section.

I often just tape two tubes together. I buy the 3', 3" tubes at Staples (I'm sure they are at other places) and cut one to fit appropriately on a 3 footer. USPS also has tubes, round and triangular, parcel post and priority. Hope that helps.

Go to a sporting goods store or an exercise equipment store, and see if it has some weight bar tubes that it has to throw away.

Hammer,

I would like to talk to you about the 57" tube.

Long, stout (but heavy) tubes available at your local carpet outlet.
