Default The Seven Deadlies

A nice article on the Seven Deadly Sins as applied to guiding. Perhaps a follow-up is needed on the 4 Cardinal and 3 Theological virtues?

William: The link isn't working, might be my slow internet connection. Hopefully someone else will give it a try and report back.

Yeah, I thought the article was clever. Didn't see the videos till I got home, work blocks youtube I was surprise to read that some of her guides' behavior worsens when the cameras show up. You'd think they'd know that a good video could get them business. I haven't had a bad guide experience. My best day I invited the guide to fish. I'd asked him if he gets to fish much and he said he'd been too busy guiding. He was helping me with my roll cast and I told him to fish out a few drifts and he caught some nice fish. He was a good guy, a solid teacher, and got us into some beautiful trout.

That was an interesting take on Guides , Bill! The only thing I find a little off on her part ( and generally I enjoy her Shows) is that the " The SINS" are commited mainly because she allows the guides to fish! So if you dont want a problem dont start one by asking them to fish! When I guided I never expected to fish and unless they were long standing customers who I had a special relationship with I usually decline! Seems to cause unnessasary problems!
