Default Kiss my a$$ ol' man winter

So I got up this mornin fairly sick of winter. I don't mind snow.....it's the high winds and arctic temps I can live without
Anyways, aside from fishing and a couple other hobbies, I enjoy smoking meat. SO.....I decided to thumb my nose at old man winter and fire up my smoker for the first time since early November. I must say, they were the best pork ribs I have ever made, and the pulled pork turned out great too. Bought all the meat on sale, 5lbs of ribs and a 2.25lb pork butt set me back a whopping $11.50.
My day consisted of smoking meat, blowin snow, and goin thru my fly gear. And drinkin a few beers while doin a little home maintenance.
all in all.......a great day.
Cheers!

Wow, that looks deeeelicious! I can almost smell it! I'm sitting at Bradley Center watching the bucks play the rockets. Not a big NBA fan but anything to distract me from the cold is just fine!

Sounds like a nice, well balanced day. By well balanced, I mean the kind of day that helps retain your sanity when the weather keeps you off the water

I'm drooling all over the keyboard. mmmmm. My day yesterday consisted of getting the dog some food, some pvc pipe connectors for a project, the grocery store, cooked dinner last night (Cornish hen and wild rice) and watched the Olympics. Was hoping I could work in the Gheenoe but weather was too cool to do what I needed. Had a couple scotch/waters while cooking dinner tho.

Winter has passed Southern Oregon with out so much as a 'look.' Actually rained yesterday, bright sun again today. This has been a really weird winter.

Please send me some of those Ribs; I'M STARVED for the taste of good meat!!
