200 yards below the bridge, just behind the third tree on the right, tucked under the fourth branch out from the bank. His name's Old Gus, and he only eats pink San Juan worms tied in the "worm on a hook" style. Better be there early or late, though, because he only eats breakfast and dinner, but never lunch.

I have never fished this spot, but knowing what I do now about trout and their habits, there is one area that is completely under fished and will hold some monsters. Fish the small lake formed just above re-regulation dam.

    I will expect compensation...

I was going fly fishing until my wife suggested it, now I can't tell who is outsmarting who!

Being "one with nature" requires a knowledge of what animals are living nearby and a weapon of sufficient magnitude to give you at minimum an equal chance of survival. No one has an invisible aura that animals can detect and sense your good intentions.

I've seen pictures of big fish caught from several spots. Just go to three rivers fly shop.

If I still fished there I'd be a bit annoyed by this hotspotting.

Keep in mind that most of the people that look for fishing spot info on sites like these aren't the friendly forum participants, and they're probably not C&R fly anglers either.

I'm not saying bank baiters are evil, just that the internet is about the best way ever to make a hidden gem widely known. Its great if its your restaurant/band, bad its its your favorite fishing spot.

Make some connections and use PMs.

I'd rather hunt fish than bait deer any day.
