Default North Fork of White River

Any reports from the NFOTW? I want to catch some trout on New Year's Day, and 46F in Missouri sounds better than -2F in NE Iowa.

Can't give you a report, but the river should be in good shape to fish, so you should be able to catch some. Streamer fishing can be good this time of year, and nymphs always work.

I don't have a report except for the generation this morning was from 4am to 9am and there were a lot of people on the river, can't say if due to excellent fishing or the holidays? I will be there this Thursday.

I was going fly fishing until my wife suggested it, now I can't tell who is outsmarting who!

Being "one with nature" requires a knowledge of what animals are living nearby and a weapon of sufficient magnitude to give you at minimum an equal chance of survival. No one has an invisible aura that animals can detect and sense your good intentions.
