Blue River, Oklahoma

Went to the Catch and Release section of the Blue River in Oklahoma yesterday(12-22-2016). Had a great day and caught several rainbows in the 13-16" size. Water was basically clear, but did have a hazy tint to it, and it didn't seem to affect the fishing any. Weather was cold and blustery, but again. It was a very rewarding day on the water.

Will be hitting the LMF on the 29th then it will a couple of trips to the Blue. MLK day at the Blue for sure.

I fished LIR a couple weeks ago when it was in the twenties with wind. That was a good day because I only saw 1 other fly guy and 2 spin guys who got their limits and left.

Headed to the Blue Monday with some work buddies. Hope the rain doesn't stain the water much.
