Galveston area - Places to wade from land?

Hi,

I live in Houston and do not have a boat. Looking for places to park the truck and wade fish.

Thanks for any ideas.

You could go across San Luis Pass to Christmas Bay. That's the only walk in wade area I have experience with. Just about all that South shoreline, the beach side shoreline is wadeable. Really the only deep spots are the entrance to Churchill Bayou and the area around the boat channels. That shoreline has lots of submerged sea grass.

There are a number of folks in the Houston area with poling skiffs that look for seconds to share the boat and poling.
