Sight fishing drag pulling fish was on the agenda today! We launched at 7AM in heavy fog and decided to stay close to the marina until fog cleared. We started out poling in a nearby high vegitation pond playing with slots until the fog lifted. Visibility was tough this morning but we managed to pick up 7 slots ranging 22-27" casting to tailing fish and wakes.

The fog cleared around 10AM so we made the long run in search for the big uglies. We jumped up on the pole and worked oyster flats with success. We were able to sight cast until our wrist gave out. Managed to sight and fight 9 of these big black drum ranging in the 30-40 plus pound range and left them feeding. All fish were CPR and caught on SHU-SHU shad.
