Hello members. I am a retired psychiatrist, living in Asheville NC. Have been fishing the waters of the Pisgah Nat Forest and Great Smokies since the mid 80's and travel to Henry's Fork of the Snake River for at least two weeks each year. I tie my own flies and look forward to sharing patterns with the members. As you might have guessed, I have a co-addiction - golf. Been playing since age 5. Handicap has slipped to 9 but I am working on my game now that I have retired. Unfortunately, I have had much time to golf as our rivers have about dried up (severe drought) and I cannot bring myself to stress the fish who are schooled up in the few pools that remain. Pray for rain. I look forward to sharing fishing info and stories with you.

    Hi golfshrink,

Welcome to the forum. Looking forward to your post. They still have some water over in North East Tennessee. That is not too far from you.

Welcome to the group! I think that's the best reason to play golf instead of fish I've ever heard.

I'd rather hunt fish than bait deer any day.
