There is nothing you can do.

Re: Fisherwife
Please clarify whether you are seeking help for you or him.

For you: just be glad that he likes a form of fishing that offers more excercise than drinking beer and dunking bait, is enjoyed by some of the best people on the planet, and involves constant learning to jog his brain, thus reducing the chances of Alzheimers and him forgetting your birthday and anniversary.

For Him: Blind leading the blind here, I have no idea how to help those obsessed with this sport.

Personally, I don't see a problem.

Signed, obsessed flyfisherman

Hello Dee::welcomean
First of all, welcome to the forum and thanks for posting. We'll always be interested in what you have to say.

Secondly, I suppose I need my wife to answer your question. She is definitely married to a Fly-Fish-Aholic and know how to cope with it. She keeps me in line pretty well too.

Do you fly fish? If so... join him. Become a fanatic too. Its really pretty easy if you try.:thmbup:

Re: Fisherwife
Welcome Dee, do you need help casting, nymphing, using streamers or what?? Being married to a fly fishingaholic is one of the greatest things you could ever hope for. If he's fishing then he's not out drinking or doing drugs or playing around with other women (except for big sow trout). If you're real luck he will even invite you along to join him.
