  1. Default Northeast Newbie

I have been fly fishing for about 55 years, the first 5 of them not voluntarily. It has long been a part of my blood. My 14 year old daughter has been fishing with me since she was a toddler and caught her her first trout on a fly rod at 7 years old on the Upper Beaverkill.

This year I had my first day on the stream when there was snow on the bank. While I didn't catch anything, I did manage to lose 5 flies. No loss to life, limb or rods and it was still fun.

I look forward to enjoying the forum.
