    Default New To The Forum

Hi there. Just joined you on this terrific forum. Haven't had a chance to go through it all but it looks like a heck of a nice sight.

I grew up in Minnesota fishing walleye on spinning tackle. My dad and I mostly fished Central Minnesota lakes and the Mississippi River. I moved out to Virginia about 25 years ago and took up fly fishing 13 years ago. I fish primarily in the Shenandoah National Park for brook trout in the mountain streams but when the water gets low and warm in the late summer I usually fish smallmouth on the Shenandoah River. I have a lot of fun doing both but hiking and climbing over boulders after brook trout gets harder every year.

I look forward to reading this site and Ill chime in where I can.

    Hi cuffer,

You live in a beautiful place for fishing, I got to wander VA. while living down in Portsmouth. Every chance I went North West or West to get into those mountains and valleys. It's been over 20 years now so a few photos of your haunts would be very welcome here.

    Welcome to the forum,
