new to fly fishing

hello i'm Gary i live in cincinnati... was at a greet and meet last sunday
one of the members had a fly rod and a few guys were trying it out
i took a try at it and i was told i didn't do a bad job, i was told to slow down my casting

Welcome to the forum..........as I remember, the first thing my grandfather told me was to "slow down"............I still have to remind myself of this even today...........I wish you the best of luck with you new "addiction!!!"
