I am new to flyfishing and looking for info and advice - Fly fished years ago but not seriously....now I am getting into it - just had my first trip to Jackson Hole and I am hooked

Welcome to the Forum ... You will find all the help you need from this bunch -- too much, for that matter. It's a great group of folks.

If fly casting is one of your needs, by all mean go to my site and download, "Excerpts." It deals with the basics and is free. Those who practice the fly cast have found it to be most useful. http://douglasmacnair.com. I also have a book available online entitled, "Fly Fishing for the Rest of Us." It covers the fly fishing system from A to Z. Find it at http://www.activeangler.com/flyfishing. It's broken down into readable chunks and is easy to follow.

What area are you located in? I am sure that if we have someone near you they would be happy to show you some things and maybe take you for a day on a local water. I am in Utah and would be happy to oblige if you are in this vicinity.
