Well.... here I am!

Hey everyone,

I just recently joined so I figured I'd make my first post here! I live in New England and mostly fish for trout. I've never fly fished before in my life only spin. I took my first casting course last weekend and now am looking into getting a rod/reel that I was gifted setup.

I'll mostly be fishing in moving water so hopefully I have some luck. I look forward to learning a bunch about fishing and tying.

Welcome sir. You will find lots of info here for just what you intend to do. Fishing moving water to me is pure bliss, nothing in my opinion beats it. Good luck on your new journey into this sport, and with the tying. It's a great way to spend the winter months preparing for your next season.
