Dear forum,
Introducing myself before I start prodding incessantly. I'm relatively new to fly fishing. I've been at it about 3 years so I know just enough to be dangerous.
I clumsily chase browns in the driftless area, steelhead in great lakes tributaries, brookies "up north" and float-tube stillwater when appropriate.
In my other life I also do a fair bit of bird hunting (grouse and pheasant for the discerning), backpacking, running and cycling.
I'm also a scientist (aquatic toxicologist) who studies fish.
Looking forward to pushing your buttons.
