About srock
Retired university prodfessor. I taught public administration for 10 years at Mississippi State University, and then, 30 years at Northern Illinois University, in Dekalb, IL. So, 40 years of university teaching. My subjects: HR, leadership, Org Behavior, .Org Development, and local government admin. While in Dekalb I fished extensively in Wisconsin, MN, and MI for trout and warm water species.

Moved to Waterloo IL in 2016 as primary residence for family reasons and retirement. Still have my great affection for the Upper Midwest including MN, WI, and MI. I try to spend 3 months a year up north. Have begun fishing Missouri trout waters since I have been back. They are OK but not wild trout waters for the most part. I also enjoy warm water fishing for bass, panfish, and muskie. I have begun to find some decent places to fish in Illinois. Any suggestions always welcome.
Waterloo, IL.
Fishing, canoeing, wilderness camping, some upland hunting. Own cabin in Northern Wisconsin.
