most productive trout patterns

what are your most productive fly patterns in the early season?

I'm a dry fly guy, but I have to admit that the most consistent fly in my box regardless of time of year or species of trout is the #8 brown BH simi seal leech. It's not the sexiest, or the most fun, and you may not catch a lot of bigguns, but you WILL get bit when nothing else gets a look.

I'm with rr99 for the spring. Mostly streamers (my fav. Slumpbuster), because I'm an awful Nymph fisher.
Later in the year terrestials.
